The hub of many community activities The Countryside Community Center serves as a meeting place and training center for many groups in the community such as the American Cancer Society, Owego's Lion's Club, AARP's Tax Assistance, Tioga County Senior Citizen Council and the Tioga County Coalition of Food Pantries. Numerous activities and classes geared toward the senior population take place here including massage therapy, bridge, bingo, and classes in oil painting, ceramics, crafts, quilting, line dancing, exercise, and Tai Chi. Outside organizations and private parties make extensive use of the Countryside Community Center. The facility is available at very reasonable rates.
