"The County Farm" has a fascinating history behind its walls. Originally built in 1885, it became a work farm and haven for the homeless, the aged, the orphaned, disabled, and the temporarily unemployed.

The Apartments at County Farm are available to eligible handicapped, very low and low-income individuals 18 years and older. Rental assistance is available to tenants for rent and utilities.

Located next to our Housing Office on Route 38 between Owego and Newark Valley, the Apartments at County Farm offer spacious apartments with a first and second floor wrap around porch and convenient parking. Outside you'll find a small fenced in play area containing a swing set and slide, not to mention a great country view.

	The Apartments at County Farm offer one and two bedroom units. Shown - typical apartment layouts Floor plans and square footage vary from unit to unit. Designs show a typical layout.		Each unit is equipped with; electric stove, refrigerator, cable television, telephone hookup, and window blinds. We offer various floor plans from 575-725 square feet. Our handicapped apartments feature specially designed bathrooms and kitchens. One of the buildings offers security door entry with an intercom system and a community room with coin operated washer and dryer.
